About Rajat
Rajat is the inventor and product mind behind e-GMAT. A four-time patent holder in adaptive learning technology, he co-founded the world's most-watched GMAT prep platform with Payal Tandon in August 2010 with one goal: democratise test prep by using technology to make high-quality, personalised teaching affordable.
He scored above the 99th percentile on nearly every standardized test he sat — the CET, the GATE and the GMAT — and was one of two students in India selected by Nokia Research Germany for a fully funded master's degree at IIT Delhi. After an MBA at Babson College on full fellowship, he spent four years at Honeywell growing its wireless business from $2M to $25M.
The technology he has built has helped more than 200,000 students across 50+ countries win an estimated $200M+ in scholarships. At PRiSM he leads the team applying that engine to the Digital SAT, and writes here about scoring, test mechanics and the decisions that actually move a score.
