DIGITAL SAT MATH PREP
Stop reviewing every SAT Math topic as if every topic needs the same amount of work.
PRiSM diagnoses your strengths and gaps across all four Digital SAT Math domains, builds your course around what can actually improve your score, and keeps testing each skill until you have proved mastery.

KNOW THE TEST
Digital SAT Math contains 44 questions in 70 minutes, split across two 35-minute adaptive modules. Questions come from four content domains:
Linear equations, systems, functions and inequalities.
Equivalent expressions, nonlinear equations, nonlinear functions, quadratics, exponentials, polynomials and related concepts.
Ratios, percentages, units, probability, statistics and interpretation of data.
Area, volume, angles, triangles, circles and trigonometry.
Around 30% of Math questions are set in context. Formula recall alone is not enough; you also have to recognize what the situation is asking you to model.

WHY SCORES PLATEAU
Students do not always miss hard Math questions because they have never learned the mathematics. Often, the gap appears somewhere between recognizing the structure of the problem and executing the right method accurately.
Knowing a quadratic formula does not help if you do not recognize the quadratic structure hiding inside the problem.
Recognize the structureMany SAT questions hide familiar mathematics inside a word problem, graph, table or unfamiliar setup.
Translate the problemDesmos can be powerful, but the real skill is knowing when graphing makes the problem easier — and when reasoning or algebra is faster.
Choose the methodA wrong answer can come from a concept gap, translation error, execution mistake, pacing issue or method choice. Those problems require different fixes.

WHAT YOU’LL MASTER
PRiSM covers the complete Math syllabus. PACE determines how much attention you need to give each part of it.
DOMAIN 01
Master linear equations, inequalities, systems and functions — including how the SAT represents them through equations, graphs, tables and context.
DOMAIN 02
Build fluency with nonlinear expressions, quadratics, exponentials, polynomials, rational and radical relationships, and nonlinear systems.
DOMAIN 03
Translate ratios, percentages, probabilities, statistics and data into mathematical relationships you can reason through reliably.
DOMAIN 04
Apply geometric relationships, area and volume, circle properties, triangles and trigonometry instead of relying on formula recall alone.
01 · PACE
Your first job is not to study. It is to diagnose. PACE evaluates your current ability across SAT Math skills and uses that evidence to determine what you should learn, what you should practice, and what you have already demonstrated you know.
A fixed course asks, “What comes next in the syllabus?”
PACE asks, “What should come next for this student?”

02 · LEARN
PRiSM teaches SAT Math from first principles so that the method still works when College Board changes the numbers, wording, graph or context. For each skill, the goal is to be able to:
For f(x) = 2x² − 12x + 23,at what value of x does f reach its minimum?
The vertex is at x = −b / 2a = 12 / 4 = 3. Recognize the quadratic structure, then use the vertex to identify where the function reaches its minimum.
Advanced Math practice example.
That is the difference between recognizing a practiced question and actually owning the underlying skill.
DIGITAL-SAT STRATEGY
The Digital SAT provides an embedded Desmos calculator throughout Math. But calculator access does not eliminate mathematical reasoning. A high-performing student needs to recognize whether a problem is best approached through:
The choice of method matters — not simply a catalogue of calculator shortcuts.
Test-tool context from the strategy document and College Board’s calculator policy.
03 · CEMENT
A familiar question can create false confidence. PRiSM uses repeated performance across different questions and difficulty levels to determine whether a skill is holding.
Demonstrate consistent performance on standard questions.
Show that the method still works when the question becomes less familiar and more demanding.
Use the same skill when it appears alongside other concepts or in an unfamiliar context.
The course moves forward when performance demonstrates mastery — not simply because a lesson has been completed.
FROM SKILL TO SECTION
Concept mastery matters. So does performing when questions are timed, mixed together and delivered inside an adaptive test. PRiSM connects your course to:

WHAT HARD QUESTIONS REVEAL
On one hard Digital SAT Advanced Math question — a quadratic written in vertex form — most students expanded the expression and solved it the long way.
Students who recognized the structure answered faster and more accurately. The gap was not arithmetic; it was seeing what the question was built from before starting to calculate.
Hard Math questions reward recognition. Identify the structure — vertex form, a system that collapses, a ratio in disguise — before choosing a method.
REAL SAT MATH RESULTS
Different starting points. Specific gaps. Section-level results, with diagnostic, official, and practice scores clearly distinguished.
Official SAT test-day resultMath diagnostic → official SAT test day
"I came in at 620 — solid algebra, weak everywhere else. PRiSM's PACE diagnosis named the three concept areas I'd been skating around with shortcuts. The course rebuilt them from first principles. Hard cementing wouldn't let me move on until I'd really held the score. Test day, I hit 760."
Sectional practice-test resultMath diagnostic → latest sectional practice test
"What clicked for me was the LEARN units — every concept built from why the formula exists, not 'here's a trick.' The PACE diagnostic skipped what I already knew, so I wasn't sitting through hours of algebra I had down. I just crossed 720 on the sectional. Aiming for 760 by test day."
